Man pleads guilty to bikie-linked tattoo shop shooting – PerthNow

Mustafa Yuksel told the County Court of Victoria on Friday he was guilty of stealing a car, setting it on fire, discharging a gun in a public place and possessing steroids.

The admission of guilt comes more than two years after the dramatic events of July 14, 2018, when the City of Ink tattoo parlour was hit with a spray of bullets about 2am.

The South Melbourne tattoo shop was co-owned by former Richmond Tigers player Jake King.

Another co-owner was Toby Mitchell, now the president of the Mongols bikie gang.

Yuksel and another man allegedly stole a Hyundai i30 car from car rental service Hertz and destroyed it by fire, along with allegedly discharging a gun into the South Melbourne tattoo shop.

A man has been sentenced for procuring the jerry can to set the car on fire, and a third man was charged but has not pleaded guilty.
